RED TIDE EMERGENCY ISSUE
NATIONAL STUDENT STRIKE
HIGH SCHOOL INDOCHINA CRISIS COALITION*
The war in Indochina is re-escalating. Nixon has bombed Hanoi and Hai Phong, the two largest cities in Vietnam.
We at Uni High must show that students will not allow this genocidal war to continue. In the recent Uni sit-in we saw that students do have power, if we demand it (note that the current issue of the Red Tide was approved.) The Staff of the Red Tide, with other organizations on campus and President Harris, are calling for a boycott of all classes at Uni on Friday. This is in conjunction with the national student strike in response to the bombing of Vietnam. There will be a high school rally at the Federal Building at 10:30. We ask all Uni people to be there. Meet at Barrington at 10:10 for a march. There will also be a rally at U.C.L.A. for all students. It will be at noon in Meyerhoff Quad.
BE THERE OR BE ELSEWHERE (NOT SCHOOL)
*an ad-hoc committee of high school students formed to protest the current re-escalation.
